Take
a look at what you will find inside
3rd Floor Antiques
|
Here at Third Floor Antiques, one can expect to discover
many of the hard to find and higher quality items that are so highly
sought after in today's collector market. Shakers are of no exception
here and vendor #328 has outdone herself in this department. This vendor's
collection of shakers is simply stunning and covers a very broad range
of makers. While this picture can only show a sample of her collection,
Mother Nature's sunshine didn't want to cooperate at picture taking
time and this photo cannot come close to the beauty and quality of this
one display of many that helps to set Third Floor Antiques a full step
ahead of so many of the other antique dealers.
|
|
Not far along the same wall as where the shaker display
just mentioned is located vendor #328 hosts a corner booth that is a
collector's paradise when it comes to Hall tableware. Shown here are
Autumn Leaf, Poppy and Rose Parade examples. Many of the vendors at
Third Floor Antiques carry the same high quality tableware and these
additional selections can be found throughout the entire shop and can
almost certainly assure one of finding that "hard to locate"
treasure. For those who savor the beauty of fine tableware, Third Floor
Antiques cannot be beat.
|
|
What would any shop in Red Wing be without Red Wing
Pottery? Throughout the entire shop, pieces of the past can be viewed
and the amount of Bobwhite tableware is no exception. While many think
of Red Wing as a "crock" or tableware market, at Third Floor
Antiques you will find wonderfully sculpted vases, urns, lamp bodies
and more
all products of the Red Wing Pottery Company. Expect to
find the commemorative pieces you have been looking for or maybe even
a newer piece from the Artist In The Park series that features re-firing
of pieces from the past. Red Wing is living history
.stop by the
service area for a lesson in history. Wander the aisles and feel free
to touch history!
|
|
We would be remiss in not mentioning the beauty of
the Fransican Tableware selection found at Third Floor Antiques. Shown
here are examples of the "Ivy" and "Desert Rose"
collections. Vendor #328 has once again gone well outside of the norm
in finding and making available to you these precious pieces of tableware.
As with all of her tableware selections and being consistent with all
of Third Floor Antiques many vendors, #328 displays only the finest,
blemish-free pieces, many being very hard to find, at prices that make
replacing or adding pieces to one's personal collection as easy on the
wallet as it is on the eye. Just seeing this is a must!

In this shot we show only a portion of Vendor #57's
outstanding selection of steins. Budweiser, Hamm's; domestic and foreign,
here you'll find a stein from old to new and from the frivolous to the
hard-to-find collector's treasure. Tap Handles are yet another piece
of the past that vendor #57 delves into along with coins and so much
more. Like all Third Floor Antiques vendors, #57 goes out of his way
to bring only the finest to you at pricing that is very fair.
|
|
Yet another focal point in the Vendor #57 realm is
his collection of Hamm's memorabilia. Like the steins mentioned earlier,
he has given up nothing to obtain the finest of product quality. Many
of his pieces are hard-to-find, many quite rare. In addition to his
bar-top accessory selections of collectibles and steins, he has a very
wide selection of beer signs, many being lighted, and other beer advertising
that has become an art form of its own form in these past few years.
By strolling thru Third Floor Antiques you will notice several areas
containing # 57's high standards in his many coin displays as well
as in his collection of unique fishing tackle. |
|
Here is an example of vendor #57's excellent selection
of beer signs. This booth also is home to many very popular and hard
to find beer advertisement mirrors.

Vendor MLB, shown here, has an extensive collection
of just about everything. Red Wing, fishing reels, cameras, knick-knacks
.she
has it. From tools to glassware, from retro to games, vendor MLB has
gone way out of way to deliver an outstanding array of antiques and
collectibles. "Simply amazing" best describes her collection
and it really does have to be seen to "believe it". Her inventory
covers a lot of ground and she has display space in both portions of
Third Floor Antiques, snooping her wares out is the fun way to find
her goods, but a quick question at the service desk can save you time
and steps.
|
|
In this shot, you can see the wonderful collection
of exquisite of planes that vendor RM has to show. He goes well out
of his way to offer only the finest tools. From the most common to the
rarely found, his ability to locate these great tools is uncanny; but
it's how he makes them available to you that really is remarkable. And
right along with the tool chest you'll find his fine collection of traps.
These too are amazing in quality.
|
|
Another view of vendor RM's booth shows the uniqueness
of his selection. Notice the lightning rod and the almanacs, the old
cast iron based lawn sprinklers
.all in mint condition and all
at value pricing.

Collector AJE provides you with a very well organized
selection of record albums from years ago. The records cover just about
every type or style of recorded music and are arranged in such a way
as to make your search quick and easy.
|
|
AJE also delves into the field of glassware and, shown
here, you can catch a glimpse of only some of the clean and beautiful
pieces she offers. Like MLB, AJE has locations spread throughout the
entire Third Floor Antiques shop-space, so taking time to find here
different spaces is a must.

Here vendor 1219 is seen with some of her very nice
glass and pottery. As you can see she has everything from German beer
glasses, to collector steins, to enamelware, to a wonderful selection
of Avon collectibles in this part of her many display areas..
|
|
Shown in yet another of her areas, 1219 uses the natural
light from a west facing window to let you marvel at the outstanding
colored glass arrangements. Depression Glass adorns some shelf space
in this area, but the pink depression from a family collection offers
some hard to find pieces. This same space [too large to capture in the
one pic] also holds some very nice "old" tables and other
larger furniture items that have to be seen to appreciate the quality.
